Moderat are back with a brand new album after 7 years, soon to be released worldwide on Monkeytown Records on 2nd August. Moderat is the collaboration of Sascha Ring, better known as Apparat and Gernot Bronsert & Sebastian Szary, better know as Modeselektor. Originating from Berlin, Germany, the unique Moderat electronic music trio was formed. Back in March 2012, it was announced on their facebook fanpage, that the guys would be working a 2nd album. And in February 2013 Moderat announced their second album titled II. It took them 6 months of hard work and dedication to create this album. Looking forward to hearing the full length album soon. For now, Moderat have released 2 tracks of the album to wet our appetites a bit.The first single being Bad Kingdom and the latest single, This Time. Bad Kingdom fuses pop and club elements to create an absolutely delectable sound. A cool, chilled out track with some glitchy basslines and downtempo beats. This Time is a more melodic, ambient track. It just allows you to drift away into your own little heaven. Plenty of pads that give it a heavenly feel, and subtle piano notes all add to the cloud 9 feel. if these two tracks are anything to go by, then this album is going to be spectacular! i really cannot wait to get my hands on it.
