Champione splices elements of House, Electro, Glitch and Dubstep to showcase scalding-hot production skills, invigorating rhythms and a flair for hyper-synthetic melodies. Being labeled by followers as a high-energy electric pirate, Champione’s style remains relentless, direct and intrinsically suited to the sweaty, darkened, heart-thumping realm of the DJ.This up & coming DJ and producer recently released his EP "Home" consiting of 8 songs that can keep any dancing crowd happy. What I liked most about the EP was that each and every song had a different meaning to it yet they were simultaneously all drawn together by the name "Home".
The songs from the EP that stood out was ofcourse the track "Home" that is the main track. This track features vocals from Danny Mcgurn that perfectly goes along with the backtrack provided. The track resembles a bit of dubstep, dance and electro, making this a very diverse yet a very excellent song.
Another track from the EP that stood out from the rest was "Unicorns", what I liked most about this is the fact that it had this whole progressing dance effect and it kept me want more.
"The View" is the track I liked most from the EP, it features female vocalist, Lizzie Massey. Everything just comes together, along with the beautiful lyrics provided by Lizzie Massey. The Beat drop in the track is not too hardcore electro but it definitely provides provision for a dancing crowd. This song possess many characteristics from both Electro, House and Dance Music. Champione without a doubt did a good job with the production of "The View".
The EP in general possess great qualities of that of a proffessional. Everything about this EP seems to be perfection and everything just comes together creating a beautiful dance experience. The EP "Home" is a result of Art and Electronic coming together to bring forth something more than amazing.
