Finally the official Crushed EP is now available, released on Black Hole Records, by the out of this world Cosmic Gate. This song blew my mind when I first heard it last year, well not just me, but the entire Trance family at large. Their incredible album Wake Your Mind is a huge success aswell as their worldwide tour to promote the album, following with the temperature raising single Stormchaser which is also a favourite, and now the official release of the Crushed EP.The EP contains remixes from Dutch maestros Rafael Frost and Mark Sixma. Crushed was first featured on Trance Nation 2012 compilation, and has been a dancefloor smasher ever since. Its one of the most requested tunes by EDMers all over the world.
The original mix is euphoric, with its anthemic main melody and the hypnotic beats and bassline (Brings me to tears). The remixes showcases Frost's and Sixma's unique style but still manages to capture the uplifting element of the original track. Armin van Buuren has supported Sixma's remix of Crushed as it was premiered on ASOT618 and it had another play the following week on ASOT619. Sixma's remix is more harmonious to keep the euphoria of the track, sure to take you to Trance heaven. Frost's remix of Crushed was featured on Corsten's Countdown 313. His remix contains elements of electro and banging tech trance beats, sure to knock your socks off. This EP has got my EPIC OF A COLLOSSAL NATURE stamp of approval. Grab your copy soon!
