Is EDM the Future?

Electronic Dance Music is music that is produced electronically for the purpose of dance, usually by Disc Jockeys (DJs) and music producers. Electronic Dance Music has over the years evolved and developed into a full on music genre that is today loved by millions and its also known as the most diverse music genre to exist today.

EDM ranges from slow-and-soulful to upbeat-and-hardcore tracks, some containing vocals and some being instrumental and that's what we as the EDM-community love most of the genre, the diversity of style.I believe that Electronic Dance Music is slowly but surely becoming to be the music of the future, not only because of the prominent and obvious futuristic elements that it possess, but because it is rapidly growing to be one of the biggest music genres.

This is evident because even mainstream artists are working along side top DJs and producers to create and produce songs that resemble EDM or have similar characteristics or elements found in electronic dance music.

This definitely proves that EDM have influenced the music industry as a whole in a big way and that this will continue to happen therefore I believe Electronic Dance Music is the future of music.
