Superstar DJs and Producers Diplo and Skrillex have announced that they will be collaborating on a new project called Jack U. They are joining forces to release new material and do a couple of live performances together.
Skrillex announced the joined venture in a lineup announcement for his infamous Mad Decent Block Parties this week, in which he listed the unknown act Jack U. Diplo tweeted on Twitter shortly afterwards to write “Jack U… Means Skrillex + Diplo together.”. Currently its not clear whether or not the two DJs have produced any new recordings but they are due to perform live at the Mad Decent Block Party's stop at San Diego's Petco Park Lot on September 15.
Skrillex and Diplo aren't exactly strangers they have worked together on several projects like a Michael Jackson remix with A-Trak in 2012, toured together on last year's Full Flex Express trip, and teamed up again with A-Trak this year to launch the YouTube channel POTATO.
Due to Skrillex and Diplo both being internationally famous and successful with music, Jack U is expected to do great things in the Electronic Dance Music industry.
