So this post is for all the ignorant people out there that is unaware of the greater meaning behind Electronic Dance Music. Many people who know nothing about EDM or the PLUR scene/lifestyle in general would characterise EDM to be all about partying, alcohol and drug use when that is not the case. EDM is about more than just dance, it is the music genre that was started and created to spread messages of Peace, Love, Hope, Generosity and most all unity. EDM is the central wiring point of all EDM fanatics. It is the thing that instantly draws us to each other and it is who we are.We choose to refer to ourselves as new era hippies because like hippies we choose to spread and share the qualities of love and peace with whoever we get in contact with. Alcohol and drugs are just one of the small things that we happen to indulge in but it is not what we praise. We praise the music and the people who are behind the production. We praise the one and only God that gave us the greater gift of music as a method to express we are as human beings. We are not perfect but we aim to be. With every negativity you might throw our way we will destroy with PLUR because that’s we are. We are the EDM family.
