It's been a total mind blowing experience since I started this music blog exactly a year ago today (29th April 2013). The main aim behind Electro-Update was to share the beauty and power of Electronic Dance Music with the world. I wanted to bring awareness about EDM, Raves and Events to the world.

Afrojack who is known for his heavy electro-house influences did not fail to impress us with his latest single, which is expected to feature on Forget the world.

EDM superstar DJ/Producer Sak Noel is back with another dance anthem perfectly designed for an euphoric dance experience. This new track from Sak Noel features vocals from Da Beats Freakz. Some how the track possesses similar characteristics from his previous releases yet still emphasising the track's new and distinct originality throughout.

Italian DJ/Producer EDX who has never failed to impress us with his effortless attempts to move us with his music is back with a soon to come new single. EDX makes his return with single, "Breathin'" that is expected to be released on June 02 2014. EDX has the ability to create a harmonize emotion with energy driven basslines.

The man behind some of the greatest hits of all time, Nicky Romero takes this week's DJ of the week title. Nicky Romero is a Dutch Electronic Music sensation that started with experimenting with music production since his graduation. Ever since he grew and developed as a DJ and music producer that has been headlining the biggest EDM events and clubs.

To the mainstream world Electronic Dance Music might just be another music genre that happens to be developing into something big right now. But to the global EDM family it is a celebration of life. EDM exclusively exerts an expression of pure positivity through angelic vocals and mind-bending electronic beats. EDM is our stress reliever, our cure for nearly everything.

Whether it is dancing at a club, raving at an EDM event or just getting down and raving wherever you might be, that's out art form of appreciation for the love we have for Electronic Dance Music. Unlike other music genres, EDM creates a Utopian dance experience through which we often find ourselves getting lost in the beauty of Electronic music.

Electronic Dance Music superstar DJ, Avicii is back in studio working on his second album. At this point in time Avicii is relaxing in Laguna beach for a couple of days before he gets to work with his second artist album.

A new company called Fuzipop known for their interesting approach to the scene, works to bring the Electronic Dance Music and rave experience to kids aged 6-12 and their parents.

Coachella being one of the biggest EDM events in the world had an unfortunate incident last weekend when an attendee passed away due to apparent drug overdose. According to NBC LA, the attendee was hospitalized after attending the festival. She was then broughy to the medical tent Sunday morning and transferred to varies medical centers, she eventually died five days later on Thursday at the Desert Regional Medical center.

Yes you read it correctly, comedian actor Will Ferrell is now developing a movie based on the Electronic Dance Music scene. The movie is expected to be titled "I'm in love with the DJ". The script written by Lauren Kahn revolves around a young woman who heads to Spain with two close friends for work.

Taking this week's number one spot as the hottest track right now is Electro-smashing, "Fall into the Sky". The track features vocals from EDM vocalist Ellie Goulding. Lucky Date & Zedd combine their forces along with Ellie to produce an over-powering dance anthem made for the dance floor.

Alesso and OneRepublic fuse their talents to give us this virtually addictive and ponderous dance syntheis track, "If I Lose Myself Tonight". This remix by Alesso give this track ultimately new meaning and expresses a message of pure positivity throughout the vocal composition.

I could not help but feel the need to review Tiesto's official remix of Zedd's commercially successful hit, Clarity. This song is known for it's major success gained in and out of the EDM industry. This time however Tiesto adds his personal style to the song giving it a whole new approach that I would describe as shockingly explosive.

Ring of fire is an Electro-dubstep track from the hottest EDM crew in the industry at the moment, Krewella. From the group that brought us tracks like "Alive" and "Live For The Night", they back and stunned us again with their no. 9 track on their album, Get Wet.

Electro House producers Alvaro and Quintino combine forces to give us another amazing big room energy-driven dance anthem. What I love most of "World In our Hands"is the uplifting dance beat that puts me in a complete extreme high.

Psy Trance is a new form of mainstream Trance that explores a heightened and slightly more insane uplifting dance experience. It trades the euphonic chords and uplifting melodies of Trance for more up beat pouding basslines and mind bending samples.

What I love most about ARTPOP is probably the way how Gaga sticked to her pop influences and sound but fused it with electronic music to give it a whole new meaning. Unlike most mainstream pop stars that experiment with EDM and usually end up commercializing the genre, Gaga managed to produce an entire album that lacked typical Electro-Pop music yet still combined Pop and Electronic Dance Music into one. ARTPOP is an exploration of music genres in which Gaga finds her self experiment with new musical styles, yet all containing an Electronic sound. ARTPOP explores a musical journey through time and space in which Lady Gaga experiments with a bit of 80's disco music and modern Electronic Dance Music, feeding into her new style. As talented as she is Gaga did not fail to produce any addictive yet creative choruses throughout the album.

Showtek is a dutch EDM duo consisting of brothers Sjoerd and Wouter Janssen. They are known for their ground breaking talent and explicit hardstyle beats. They combined their forces in 2001 starting out with Techno and hardstyle music eventually experimenting with other EDM genres such as Electro-House.
